Full of something... not sure what

hey gang..
I figured out what to do with my large Eiffel Tower. It's a great place to hang my cool necklaces and other jewelery and fun to look at in my closet. I also put a Paris image inside the tower.
Since I was taking pictures, I took this one of one of my wall spaces with some favorite art stuff on the bureau. Ah a bit too much glare. Looks better in real life.
So I can't get the dance scene from Slumdog Millionaire out of my mind. (reminded me of you, Ace and your dancing craze awhile back) That might have been my favorite part of the movie and I never like dance scenes- but this one... I may go to the movie again just to see the ending credits with the dancing. Did anyone else see it and feel the same way or have I just gone dance crazy?
Busy weekend. I have over 150 students in my internet high school classes. Yikes. Still I am running to the movies- and I haven't even done my lesson plans and national board stuff. A gal has to have some fun. So let me know if you stopped by the blog and have a good week.

Full of Years

Guess who had a birthday? yes, I am the birthday girl today on this rainy and cold day- just like when I was born  and rushed to the hospital during a snowstorm. My birthday was the usual. By now I know what to expect- not much. No creme brulee or panna cotta. Oh well.  No tongs. Oh well. No Eiffel Tower necklace from Urban Outfitters. Oh well. No fun phone calls. Oh well.  It was fun waking Chloe up singing happy birthday to myself- that's about what you have to do here to get excited about birthdays if you aren't me.
I made this journal page for my birthday- that was good and I did another page yesterday. That is like a world record these days.
Thanks Joy for remembering
me on my birthday.
You make the best
granola.
Hope everyone had fun on my day.xxoo

Full of Dust

I found this cute pillow today when I "had" to take Chloe to Urban Outfitters. Funny that I got two things and she got nothing...

Look what I found when I was cleaning out my closet: I couldn't believe that these sock monkeys have been in my house since my mom died many years ago.  It was so exciting to see them when I opened up the box. I had gone through that box before, but the sock monkeys never registered. It was a great find for such a grueling activity. I even got the closet cleaned out and gave lots of clothes away so it was a great list crosser-outer. (note: closet picture is pre-cleaning) I managed two other rooms as well and have many magazines to toss. It's interesting to see what was hip in Somerset Studio and Creative Keepsakes ten years ago. Lucky for me I don't adore it any longer so I can recycle those magazines. All in all it was a very dusty 4 days.
Tomorrow we return back to school. It will be a hard transition after two weeks out. Both schools start again tomorrow. I am sure my high school photography club will be excited to meet and show their photos.
That's about it for this post. Please let me know you stopped by to visit.
